Is Your Machine Asking for a Service?

Coffee machines rarely stop without warning. If you notice any of these, book a service before a small problem becomes a repair.

  • Coffee tastes bitter or burnt
  • Coffee comes out slowly, or not hot enough
  • The machine is louder than it used to be
  • The descale or warning light keeps coming on
  • Milk froth is weak or the steam wand drips
  • It has not been serviced for a long time
  • Coffee that tastes right again

Limescale and old coffee oils change the taste and temperature of every cup. A service clears them out.

  • Fewer breakdowns

Regular servicing helps prevent faults, improves performance and extends the life of your machine.

  • Problems caught early

We check the seals, hoses, pump and pressure, and tell you about worn parts before they fail.

Machine not working?

Call-out and assessmentR499

Start here. A technician finds the fault and gives you a quote before any work starts.

  • The R499 comes off your repair when you approve the quote
  • If a repair is not worth the machine’s value, we will say so
  • Repairs carry a 3-month warranty
  • Usual turnaround: three days
See Repair Costs

No surprises. A service is maintenance, not a repair. If we find a faulty pump, boiler, grinder, heating element, control board, seal or other part, we tell you, quote for it separately and wait for your go-ahead. Nothing is done without your approval.

Coffee machine descaling

Limescale builds up inside every coffee machine from the minerals in tap water. Left alone, it narrows the water path and makes the machine work harder.

At every service we check for limescale and descale the machine when it needs it, following the manufacturer’s instructions for that machine.

Coffee machine installation

We install coffee machines for homes, offices, cafés, restaurants and hotels.

Tell us which machine you have and where it is going, and we will quote for the installation.

Grinder servicing

Where a grinder is fitted, it is inspected and cleaned as part of the service.

On business machines we check grind consistency, burr condition, dosing performance and adjustment settings.

Service Contracts for Businesses

When coffee is part of your business, a machine standing still costs you money. With a service contract we service your machines on an agreed schedule, so problems are found before they stop you serving coffee.

  • Scheduled services that follow our 22-step business checklist
  • A written service report after every visit, with the recommended next service date
  • Worn parts identified early and quoted before any work is done
  • One team for servicing, repairs and call-outs, open 24/7

Coffee Machine Servicing Questions

Cannot find your answer? Call 010 065 1995 or see our frequently asked questions.

How much does a coffee machine service cost?

A home machine service starts from R1 850 and a business machine service from R2 600. We confirm your exact price before we start, and parts or repairs are only done after you approve a quote.

Why does the price depend on the machine?

Machines differ. A small home machine takes less work than a large bean-to-cup machine or a multi-group commercial machine. Send us the brand and model and we will give you your exact price before you book.

What is the difference between a service and a repair?

A service is preventative maintenance: cleaning, inspecting, testing and adjusting a machine that works. A repair fixes a fault, such as a faulty pump, boiler, grinder, heating element or control board. If we find a fault during a service, we quote for the repair separately.

Is descaling included in the service?

Yes, when the machine needs it. We check for limescale at every service and descale the machine as required, following the manufacturer’s instructions.

How often should a coffee machine be serviced?

It depends on how much the machine is used and on your water. Every service ends with a service report that tells you when we recommend the next one.

Do you service machines outside Gauteng?

Yes, by courier. Our technicians travel within Gauteng only. Customers in Cape Town, Durban, Polokwane and elsewhere in South Africa send the machine to our workshop and we courier it back.

My machine is not working. Should I book a service or a repair?

Book a repair. The call-out and assessment fee is R499, and it is deducted from the repair when you approve the quote. If a repair is not worth the machine’s value, we will say so rather than quote it. See our repair costs.

Do you offer service contracts for businesses?

Yes. We service café, restaurant, hotel and office machines on an agreed schedule. Call 010 065 1995 or send us a message for a quote.
